Welcome to Laidoffon(the “Service”), a curated talent network operated through the website laidoffon.com. By creating an account or using the Service in any way you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Laidoffon is a platform that connects high-skilled professionals displaced by AI with companies that hire human capital. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must provide truthful information when creating your profile or company.
- One person / one legal entity may have only one account of each type (job seeker or company).
3. Account responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
- No scraping, automated mass-messaging, or harvesting of candidate / company data.
- No discriminatory, fraudulent, misleading or illegal content.
- No malware, spam, or attempts to circumvent platform security.
- Companies posting jobs must offer real, lawful positions with accurate descriptions.
- Job seekers must accurately represent their experience and skills.
We may suspend or delete any account that violates these rules, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
5. Company review
Company accounts are subject to manual approval. Approval is not a guarantee of success and may be revoked at any time if the company is found to misrepresent itself or violate these Terms.
6. Content you submit
You retain ownership of the content you upload (profile, CV, job posts, messages). By submitting it to the Service you grant Laidoffon a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, copy and process such content for the sole purpose of operating the Service.
7. Fees
Today, all core features of the Service — including profile creation, job applications, job posting and messaging — are free. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with at least 30 days' notice.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion is irreversible and will remove your profile and associated data, except as required to be retained by law or for legitimate business interests (e.g. fraud prevention, dispute resolution).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laidoffon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim is capped at €100.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When the changes are material we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the venue of the user's residence (for consumers) or the courts of Milan (for businesses), without prejudice to mandatory provisions of applicable law.
